I used my Saiga-12 to place 1st in Open, and 2nd Overall.
The Saiga-12 did have a couple hiccups, nothing serious. I attribute this to leaving it in the car overnight and condensation on the inside of the action. Whenever I ejected a live round at the end of the stage, it came out wet....strange.

80 rounds fired from drum total at the match counting team shoot. 2 malfunction 2.5% Failure rate. I'm willing to tolerate it for now because they are easy enough to clear and faster than a reload. More the one malf per drum though is worse than a reload though.
thanks for your input. It is worth a lot coming from someone who "uses" their gun for more than a safe queen. I get a kick out of gun owners on youtube opening their new saiga, rambling on about the "goodness" of their gun, wondering what the hell is this bottle opener for (choke key), and highly recommending the gun based there very limited and useless experiences.
