Sequential Circuits Pro-One Analog Synthesizer with different settings (OSC-Sync, PWM, VCF, Envelope...); internal sequencer is triggered by the Roland TR-808:

For me one of the best monophonic analog synths ever.

@emmetor The circuits were identical but effectively 5 of them on the Prophet 5.

@emmetor The Prophet Five was actually released prior to this. The Pro~One was built to be a cheap one voice alternative to the Prophet Five. As retro said, it has a forty night sequencer and up/updown arpeggiator. While the sound is different, imo it's the closest to a Prophet Five in the Prophet line.

@retrosound72 If you don't want people to make the comparison , you shouldn't give it the same name.
I don't know how the Pro-1 relates to the Prophet-600 in terms of functionality and price, but I like the second one more I guess.

What's the diff between this and the prophet 5? I know the 5 is polyphonic, and this is probably a lot earlier.
IN terms of functionality though.. what's the difference?

the sound is a bit different and the Pro-1 has Arpeggiator and Step Sequencer
