i got thrown off on sunday i was riding a horse named quinsey at the barn i ride at and he wouldnt trot then all of a sudden he squels and bucks me into a wall ..... i flew head first into the wall.... im glad i had my helmit....... i was sore for awhile and i still am now

@userunavailable3095 I find your last sentence quite ironic, as the replying seams you have been trying to have the last word as well. People don't want to hear your opinion and wont take your advice because EVERYONE posts critiques(no matter their experience)you may have 35 years of experience, you may not nobody knows! BUT YOU ARE NOT HER TRAINER, you DON'T know the horse, rider or environment(obviously because no door opened) so you place to critique anything. Now you may have your last word.

@ashleynugent If you post something on youtube, the world is going to see and comment. If you don't want comments, don't post it. That's life. Perhaps it hasn't occurred to you that for someone who knows something about horses to post a comment actually takes effort on their part, and is evidence of caring. If you don't like what I said, you are free to ignore it. Now, feel free to have the last word, or several hundred words, as you are clearly determined to do.

@userunavailable3095 no I don't think your a “big evil meanie” I just do not think you should come on youtube to critique people... she said it herself "Dunno where they got opening the door from noone opened a door” so again I think you, along with a lot of other people, need to keep the opinions to themselves. If you had seen that other people had posted “omg are you ok!” does not give you the right to come in and say something, thats her trainers job not yours... Is that not being truthful??

@userunavailable3095 Im in no way saying I know more or have more experience but i don't think you need to be so critical... its a youtube video! she probably put it up because she was like “woohoo totally caught that on camera, thats going on youtube! If your so eager to critique do it to your own students or go bomb proof your own horses and ride them in traffic.... if someone wanted your critique they would have asked for it simple as that.

@userunavailable3095 and Im sure you think your the best trainer in the world... I have only have half as much experience in years as you but I have trained with people who have double your experience, for all I know your some person who thinks they know what they are talking about.... she has a trainer so let that person do the training... People fall off their horses at the olympics and I would be willing to bet they are a better rider than you... everyone has their off days, horses and riders

@ashleynugent Quit trying to have the last word rather than listen to someone with experience. How many months or years would you like to continue having this discussion? A wise person listens to what others say in order to glean bits of new knowledge. People who keep trying to defend the little bit on knowledge they have never learn anything new. Most horses are not properly broken in anymore, and people get hurt because of it. When you can drive that horse in traffic he'll be broke.

@userunavailable3095 simple, its safer for a new rider, keeps them closer to instruction, also she was not on a lounge line so she has control of the horse. Even “bomb proof” horses have their moments, no one is perfect including our horses things that have happened over and over again might catch him off guard one day... people don’t put videos upon you tube so that someone who thinks they are some big shot rider can come critique them, so stop trying to be the instructor your clearly not!

@ashleynugent I'd not noticed this discussion before but just wanted to say thanks, YOU were spot on. I was returning to riding after 6 years an this was my 3rd half hour lesson so it was really confidence and balance progression, he was a very experienced horse, 26 yr old ex eventer in fact, and with someone else riding looks much better! Dunno where they got opening the door from noone opened a door, he was scared of nothing :o) does that make it worse LOLah bless him, thanks anyways x
