  • My sifu told me to not to discriminate other sifus or their forms and techniques. You should just watch/listen and learn. Either you learn some new things to improve your own style, or you learn the weakpoints of the new one.

It is just the point of view that decides if you learn from the things you see or not.

  • Looks like his advanced is everybody's substandard. Hopefully he hasn't ran out of "impressive words" by the time he reaches "mediocre".

  • @eenuniekenaam true it's not supposed to block with elbow. but it could be of the partner's fault for punching out of center. the bong sau should really be able to break through too easily in this case, or never even having the need for doing bong sau in the first place

  • @12344richard nope. it's for contact/release based practise. chi sao is clinging hands= remains in contact. the purpose of chi sao ultimately though is to let go of this contact and attack freely while retaining solid defense through angles of the arms movements. usually when people are first learning chi sao their technique becomes sluggish because they try to remain in contact even when it's not favorable or even to the point of losing centerline. that's why chi sao is not taught right away

  • expert village get rid of this clown he is hopeless.

  • @DerFotoMicha ABSOLUTELY!!! There are beginning students out there that need a slow step by step movement and explaination to watch and listen to. The advanced critics should waste their time watching and commenting on someone they think is better.

  • Shut up man!

  • @DerFotoMicha
