A voice like melting chocolate! And a surprisingly versatile jazz pianist - both now sadly missed.

I'd never heard of this lady until yesterday. I was in a recording studio putting some songs down and the sound engineer said to me, you really remind me of Marian Montgomery....now I feel rather honoured!

There is an album of these two musical genii made in the late 70s early 80s anybody know the title?

@Okbooboo Couldn't agree more! Suberb voice -only heard this for the first time recently. Although I remember her from the sixties I didn' realise she sang so well as this. For me, she tops the three versions I know with Stacey Kent's a close second.

Knowing this song well from versions by Doris Day (great piano solo by Andre Previn), and Tony Bennett (much bigger and brassier swing), this version still really stands out as being completely individual. What a great voice Miss MM has, slurring notes so well, whilst almost singing sharp on others, all the while giving us that great husk. Real feel. Ace.

Marians's absolutely divine and inspirational - nothing more to be said.
Dudley - one of a kind. Superb musicianship even with the comedy!!

Has anyone ever seen such musical 'chemistry' between two such talented artists? And how on earth did Dudley Moore concentrate on playing the piano with that lovely voice - and face - so close to him?
