Yet another side quest that I have never attempted prior to this LP. I actually like it, although I am officially sick of the way Cyric runs because of how much of it is required.

oh, and in besaid ruins, i found something written in al bhed. it says "kilika and bikanel join as one" do you know what that may mean?

@masterchi18 Yup. And if you watch Episodes 117 & 118, you'll know what it's for. =)

Does it matter what sphere you get (either the cactuar's sphere or the sphere del perdidor)?

@blainyrules No, as long as you got all the others up to this point, you'll still get the best rewards. The last cactuar is just extra.

How do ya get no opponents to appear?

@TheXBladeist You need someone equipped with an armor that has the "No Encounters" ability on it. Ghosts drop them in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth.

dear cyric, i have to say that your videos are really great! the butterfly video helped me greatly! and this cactuar one is difficult too. most other people i know would just post videos of fighting the cactuars, not walking us through to which map theyre in and whatnot. im subscribing!

@TheXBladeist Once you get the ship, it's a piece of cake. You need to capture 5 different species of dragons x4 each. 4 Voiuvre (Mi'Ihen OldRoad East) 4 Lamashtu (Mushroom R.R.) 4 Kusariqqu (Thunder Plains), 4 Mushussu (Bikanel Island) and 4 Nidhogg (Sunken Temple or Chamber of the Stolen Fayth). Then you go to the training Area in Calm Lands, talk to the tamer and he'll give you 99 Purifying Salts. Use these on one and any armor in the Customize menu. You only need one character equipped
