@imaginfree69 and the bible says that we only know in part, so we do not understand everything. However we do understand what it means to be saved, and it's free. All you have to do is ask him my friend and believe he died for you. The problem nowadays is that everyone wants evidence. This earth was not made by man.

@imaginefree69 God is Love, God is peace, God is Joy,and God gives us forgiveness. Bad decisions can always get passed down to later generations. Understand that when man first sinned, we needed another man to die for our sins. We were not created to die. Sin brings for death. The day they ate of the fruit. God wants us to be saved. Will we take the call?

There are indeed different styles of preaching and preaching, for the most part, serves a different purpose than teaching. Preaching is to uplift, encourage, inspire and motivate and sometimes a higher level of emotional excitement is put forth. Some might call it theatrics, but if that's what it takes to inspire and uplift and drive the Word home, then so be it. I get something from all kinds of preaching because I go in looking to get a Word from the Lord.

The carnal always want to analyze. Just receive the word, regardless of the skin color or the type of preaching.

There are different styles of preaching it seems, this one is popular among black churches and youll find plenty of parody's of this in black comedy's.
not my style with what i perceive to be theatrics but some only listen to this style so there is someone for everyone.
but the message itself was good which is most important.

so true... There are different styles of Preaching God's Word. It's how the holy spirit gives it to you. There is Joel Osteen, who's message is outstanding. The same goes for Pastor Ron Gibson, just his style is brought forth in a different way, same message though. Like you said, that is what matters. :)

I don't regret what I said. It is the norm amongst Black Preachers. I'm sorry for using the Black Preacher's Vernacular in this setting!
