rFactor IndyCar IRL 2008 Donington Park Onboard Race

A few laps with the new IndyCar 2008 series mod for rFactor at Donington Park. Offline race, recorded completely live with Fraps (not a replay!). I'm driving the car, everyone else is AI (and making a mess of it).

The AI are a bit aggressive, they can crash into the back of you very easily. Damage was set to ON, but it seems the collisions I had with the AI were not necessarily enough to damage the car.

AI was set to 105% and no driver aids were used.

Made a few mistakes towards the end of the video and er...cut it a few corners before I crashed due to the AI slowing down too much.

hi, you can download the game from rfactors own site, or you can usually buy it on ebay for anywhere from 99p to £12.00, look for 2008 version.

the game comes with a good range of cars and tracks, but just sign up to rfactor, no money involved and you can download countless tracks and cars, it is pc only, hope this helps

Im not sure what adjustments you can make in this game, I race using NR2003 and the number of garage adjustments you can make are insane.. You appear to be loose off the corners and I'm not sure how much an Indy car differs from a stock car in terms of air pressures, but I'd lower the rear air pressures just a smidge. Larger contact patch = better traction under acceleration. Of course it could also just be how your driving off the corners, I have no experience in open wheel so idk.

@aryeltube Rubbish man, he didn't trouble the racing line at any point and didn't hit a single apex. He also crashed into other cars on numerous occasions
