  • is this third day?

  • yes

  • The only thing I don't like about the video is how it says that "infertility is a disease of the reproductive system". While this may be the case in some people it is not the case in all. Some women have blood clotting issues, some have an iodine deficiency, some have the rh factor, for some women their biological clocks have simply run out and they don't have any good eggs left - none of those are 'infections of the reproductive system'.

  • Maybe that is not the best wording ( I took it from other websites as I learned about infertility) but what I was trying to say is that infertility is not someone's fault. You don't choose to not be able to have children. Most people don't do something to themselves that cause this problem. Glad you liked the rest of the film.

  • @nursevangogh Very true. I guess the point that I was trying to make is that is not the mother's fault.

  • Infertility effects everyone. A friend of mine who I loved very much stopped talking to me after I became pregnant. It was like losing a sister.

  • I am so sorry. That sounds hard for both of you!

  • Disease? Infertility is a BLESSING! It means you don't feel the burden of potentially bringing someone into this Hell that is Earth, you don't have to worry about getting pregnant when you didn't plan for it, some people even pay to become infertile!

  • @oldmamaoftwins And just curious...what did it cost? Science has come a long way, yes, but a lot of us cannot afford it.

  • I have found out that I have many many contributing factors.....

Endometriosis, Adneomyosis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Then to top it off.....I have inherited blood clotting factors = Factor V Leiden (single mutation), MTHFR 677T (single mutation), Weak positive Lupus Anticoagulant. This is just the stuff I can remember off the top of my head. Good Luck everybody! ~*~*~*~* Baby Dust to all *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

  • @AllieLejeune Hi I have a very long story...We have a 25 yr old and a 24 yr old, then after a change of heart, we decided to try again at age 34. We tried non stop for 8 years and 8 miscarriages. Broken hearted to say the least. We finially did embryo donation in 2004 and had a perfect son in Feb 2005 almost 2 weeks overdue. Then we found an egg donor in 2007 and had beautiful big healthy twin girls in Jan 2008. Our hearts have been overjoyed. Don't ever give up! Love & hugs, Karen
