  • Spending other peoples money against their wishes is morally wrong. The GAO is effective and actually in the interest of the public by helping to find bad spending. I hope it does not get shut down.

BTW: I want a gasoline powered alarm clock. Would they give rebates for them? I have to make one and find out.

  • I always suspected those energy stars were from random test.... now I know they may even be bogus... just like most of the gov run programs.

And liberal idiots wonder why the average American didn't want the gov to take over the HC industry.

  • @TheMarksmenCat Greed is good. That policy would get us further along than "Green is good"

  • 1:31 Greed is good lol

  • A heat-pump more efficient?

    BWAHAHAHAHA!

  • @spol07

It started out as small thats why i put "look what happened to USA" in parenthesis to emphasize historical context.

  • I used to think energy star was some private program that actually worked in finding out which products are energy efficient. Then I found out it's an EPA program, and I KNEW something was up. The GAO should be staffed in full with libertarians, so gov't will REALLY be checked and monitored for all its fraud, waste, abuse, etc.

  • @zbigniewzapora haha, You didn't just call the U.S government a small government. Are you even American? I'm not and I know U.S government is involved in everything.

  • Thank you LibertyPen! It is good to hear some news of a government agency that actually does something positive with our money. It will be interesting to see how this plays out...Now, if I saw some real investigative journalism by the mainstream media, I wouldn't even know where I was.

  • if only more people hear this sort of info! thx for putting it out there.

  • @jsjs525

welfare and abolish the minimum wage, and then give them amnesty. More laborers in a market menas more can be produced. People like Dobbs either don't understand that or willfully ignore it and take a hard, almost racist (no spanish in America-type of mindset, etc.) stance. Germans and Italians spoke their native tongue among each other when they immigrated. I'm sure there were xenophobes back then regarding that, too.
