Though I am not an advocate of the one-plane swing theory, I do believe there are some great components to it. Here, I applied my understanding of the one plane motion to my own swing as a way to learn how to better express certain concepts (mainly backswing) to my students.

This particular swing is more of a drill than a swing. The early wrist hinge allows me to force the club on plane. From there, I simply try to maintain that plane angle from start to finish.

Though this is a relatively clean and simple looking swing motion, I don't believe it to be the most efficient. To me, it feels very manufactured, unnatural, and unathletic.
