RedRover: Bringing Animals from Crisis to Care

RedRover, formerly United Animal Nations, brings animals out of crisis and strengthens the bond between people and animals.

As a pivotal animal organization on the national stage, RedRover strengthens the emotional bond between people and pets through generous donors and active volunteers who protect, shelter and reunite suffering animals with the loving embrace of people who care.

We are:

RedRover Responders. We shelter and care for animals rescued from mass cruelty in puppy mills, hoarding cases and other significant abuse situations. During natural disasters, we shelter and care for displaced animals and reconnecting them with their families.

RedRover Readers. We help children explore the bond between people and animals through stories and discussion. We encourage children to share information about animals, reflect on the roles of animals in their communities and determine our collective responsibilities towards them.

RedRover Relief. We provide financial assistance to pet owners and Good Samaritans to obtain urgent veterinary care. We also work with shelter advocates to help victims of domestic violence escape abusive homes without having to leave their pets behind.

RedRover Reporters. We encourage people to watch for and report situations of abuse and neglect. We offer financial incentives to encourage witnesses of animal cruelty to come forward.
