I think that the person responsible for Jacen's fall is that kriffing Dark Jedi Lumiya. She helped him to follow the dark side and convinced him that it was the right path to follow. In addition, she urged him to kill his aunt Mara to make the "sacrifice" in order to join the Sith Brotherhood. Jacen Solo is in truth a good character with a kind heart and a love of animals. I like to think of him and Caedus as completely different people.

Jaina would have had her ass kicked every kriffing way left and right if she had gone against Jacen but noooo they made her able to kill him and you know that he tried to turn good at the end it wasn't even a fair fight cause he was distracted by the conspiracy to kill his wife and daughter

Not only that but Lucas said that originally Anakin was the series hero and Jacen was to be killed, but so there was no mix up between Anakin Solo and Anakin Skywalker when they were referred to Jacens and Anakins destinies were switched

well jacen was lid to, some one tooled him he could save his little girl and every one he loved if he turned, Jacen had a very very very hard life and his family gave him no reason to trust them , so he did was he thought he had to do, in the end he dies saving his little girl and the woman he loveds life but was killed by his twin sister, ( A jedi ) so in a way Jacen was right not to trust his family.
