3rd Movement-Allegro Molto-of the Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Orchestra in D Minor by Felix Mendelssohn.Daniel Levy,Piano;Vaclav Hudecek,Violin;Prague Symphony Orchestra.
His Tchaik. performance is excellent--fantastic as a matter of fact..I have listened to it a number of times..on the other hand..go listen to his current Gypsy Airs performance..
I wanted to add to my previous comment that he does have a "killer", aggressive bow arm..I would love to snag some of his bow technique. Some of the best bowing skills I have seen on Youtube and luxurious vibrato;best of all he clearly loves playing and loves his instrument which somehow transmits in his music..which helps one overlook the "missed" notes. It's been a long time since I saw a player love what they are doing SO much and thats refreshing.
This guy is a man that has talent, he had good training, the right teacher, the right violin and there is no question he has worked hard, he has achieved a great deal--but he cannot be classified a virtuoso..LISTEN TO HIM. He plays well..but he is certainly not even close to a virtuoso..he plays well above average.
Zrovna mi od kamarádky došel autogram od Hudečka a jeho ženy. :) Pěkně hraje.. bohužel tak já nikdy hrát nebudu :( :D

agree that he slipped. When he was young he was awesome. he had Oistrakh dna running through his veins. Extremely athletic playing.

Moon, listen to his performance of Tchaik. when he was young. It is phenominal. I think you are being parsimonious here.
