massimo contrasto 1995-97 EXP Milano con Ariella Vidach e AIEP

These are some rare recordings of some of my 90s amiga and mandala based interactive installations and experiments.
They are really low quality videos since they were mostly shot in front of a 14" monitor showing bad VHS tapes in 1999, but you can get the ideas.
All these installations were based on one or more camera signal being realtime digitized and fed to the Mandala System (tm) by the toronto based vividgroup (vd http://ecat.dcccafe.com/corpprofile.php?vendor_id=5002187 or http://www.gesturetek.com/) running on a Commodore Amiga 3000. Audio was almost always 8bit, 4samples max, sometimes with an external MIDI expander or sampler for more better quality sounds.

Queste sono alcune registrazioni di alcune mie installazioni interattive basate su amiga e mandala degli anni '90.
Sono veramente low quality poiche' sono delle riprese di un monitor da 14" che mostra nastri gia' rovinati nel 1999, ma ci si puo' fare un'idea.
Tutte queste installazioni erano basate sul segnale di una o piu' telecamere digitalizzato in realtime e dato in pasto al Mandala System (tm) del vividgroup di toronto (vd http://ecat.dcccafe.com/corpprofile.php?vendor_id=5002187 o http://www.gesturetek.com/) che girava su un Commodore Amiga 3000. L'audio era quasi sempre 8bit, 4 campioni max, qualche volta con un expander o un campionatore MIDI per avere piu' suoni di miglior qualita'.
