Never Mario Del Monaco was better than Domingo performing this aria. And lets not forget that Mr. Monaco was doing playback at the end of his career, wile Mr. Domingo still sings at the age of 70. (and i hope he will a long time from now on)

secondo me.... questa è proprio la migliore interpretazione... poi non so perchè non me ne intendo di lirica... ho ascoltato le altre qui su youtube per la prima volta e credo che tra tutte questa versione esprima il vero senso di angoscia dolore e disperazione che prova il pagliaccio tradito... perdonatemi se ho detto delle cazzate eh!!!

I AM NOT REALLY A DOMINGO FAN BUT THIS IS THE GREAT ROLE FOR HIM IMO, VERY GOOD SINGING, FEELING AND EVEN SINGING HERE. VERY GOOD READING OF THE Aria. I ENJOYED THIS.
