I don't think it's accurate to say that there's an additional pressure on Asian and Black women. White women too have the same pressure to have the right colour skin. Tan enough? Fair enough? it's the same problem. I was teased horribly for being pale.
And now you have all those orange girls running around so that's not the right colour either...

I'm not for bleaching by all means, but isn't it a bit hypocritical that on normal magazines there are tanning creams, tanning bed numbers, and sprays blatantly advertised? Not as much bad publicity per se... but I guess I could understand this inferiority complex instilled onto the population, gradually we'll improve and realize that everyone is beautiful in every way, shape and form. Until that day, let us reverse this ignorance, because it isn't bliss if it oppresses.

Instead of teasing and bullying over dark skin, why not tease and bully over hanging onto a white-superemacy mindset! I mean, asians are no longer under British rule. And while I'm at it, I am sick and tired of see all these faded-looking "white girl wannabe wheat" complexions -- show some color! Deep, rich, brown dark skin is incredibly beautiful!!!

"why do Asians promote the white look?" Simple answer - because they want to look white, and white people dont even like them, a paki is just a paki (light or dark) as far as their concerned.
