"Believe it to see it" is on my Spreadshirt today... Dewitt Jones, a wonderful, thoughtful National Geographic photographer taught me this. Sure there are somethings that you have to see to believe, but there are others you have to believe first in order to see. Dewitt would have to believe first at photoshoots where the weather turned bad or the lions, who were the focus of the shoot, did not arrive. He would have to believe there was an interesting, compelling shoot. Once he did, he would find something. I've used this thought many times in business. Believe the state we need to be in was there, then work backwards to see how to get there. I find this technique is particularly useful when conventional wisdom is leading you way from a breakthrough.

Complementing my tagline for the day is:
* Our chocolate Bella long sleeve shirt with a nice edged finish: http://www.bella.com/
* A 2-layer green, brown and beige Elie Tahari skirt: http://www.elietahari.com/
* Modern gladiator-style pumps from Donald J Pliner: http://www.donaldjpliner.com/
