1993 Slick 50 500 - Start/1st Caution

The start of the 1993 Slick 50 500 at Phoenix, WHAT Dick Trickle leads the first lap!?!?! lol

Early on in the race championship contender Dale Earnhardt gets into the #25 of Ken Schrader in turn 2 and Kenny spins and hits the outside wall to bring out the first yellow of the day.

IIRC, they had to repave PIR after the entire facility was flooded that spring due to heavy winter rainfall overflowing the nearby Salt River. That flood washed out a number of bridges and roads near the racetrack and made travel to the track alot more difficult.
