Not the best pen out there but hey, they're cheap. Generally by the time the tip is crapped out its mostly out of ink. WHen I do the tip reversal I use a dropper to load more ink into the pen. If the tip didn't die out so fast I'd love it.

thx really much these pens drive me crazy after a while

Awesome!! I ruined the tip on mine because like a lot of felt tip pens they go flat. I'm trying this! 5 stars man! Oh wait they don't do that anymore. Thumbs up!!!

@softballchicks33 I know I'm being vague but they will run out quicker on the more absorbent papers, so like watercolour paper and higher gsm paper that has a rougher surface

Thanks for the "tip"!

oh my god thank you so much

i got a case of, 6 Pitt Artist pens (just like yours) but myne are shades of grey
I screamed with delight at this video. A thousand times, thank you. They have such a short life it drives me crazy (I try to sharpen them with a x-acto), but I still use them exclusively for my comic. Plus, buying new ones is a pain, at Pearl they are locked up in a case, though $50 paint tubes hang freely in the aisles.

I think the reason why the tips are fraying is because you'll draw back over the tip. Pushing the tip up the paper will smoosh up the material.
