This song was written for the lead singer of Trust Company's wife/girlfriend, Layla (i forgot what she was when this song was written). It's about despite the fact Layla had lived a hard life, she still enjoyed every good thing about life. Her story helped keep Lacey from committing suicide...

I dont know about you, but i find this song very deep and inspirational :D

Layla Palmers story was not what prevented Lacey form commiting suicide, Layla Palmer is a friend of Lacey's that has a rare form of arthritis but still lives her life being "fully alive"

Lacey was suicidal in high school, she was having family problems, doing drugs and hanging out with the wrong people, the next day she was going to commit suicide but her grandma forced her to go to church, and God saved her.

@metalcorelvr I think it's because you see her passion when she's just singing with a a simple guitar. You can see how much she loves what she's doing and singing about. Atleast that's how I feel.
