About 550 ft / min. Look at the altitude readout and the clock on the video. Just above freezing so engine performance was probably helped a bit. 2 blade 1-30 m Helix carbon prop driven through a 3-1 / 1 reduction by the standard mini 2 plus by Simonini

  • is that the NewMarket area if it is I've been there from the ground it looks like forest.

  • @parairchairbill Jeff...It's South west in the UK. County of Devon. Thanks for the reply BTW

  • Dave what model Flytec Vario was that? Thanks.

  • @Thunderball410 It's a Brauniger I Q one I believe

  • Ohhh... be careful with such a powerfull motor you might get torque reation, or maybe stall the wing ...or perhaps you will just go up ^^^^ ..........it looks like you went up.....

  • Indeed I did Gary :o) I seldom use full throttle. Level cruising between quarter and half power but it really is great to have it on tap when you want it !! And it's easily "managed" with the pistol grip trigger. Cant wait to see what the Super 200 can do, besides burning less fuel, and the quick release harness I must have. Dave
