Sunday October 25, 2009 at US 41 in Morocco, Indiana. Took 60's drag era "old injun" to the track to blow off some dust. Car has not seen strip time since the early 1970's. Built by Bob Frye of Perry, Oklahoma. Raced in AHRA (American Hot Rod Association) in Oklahoma and Kansas throughout the 60's and early 70's. Car is basically untouched since found in a field. All Pontiac 1950's drive train.
anyone know if this Poncho has the optional dual quad 285hp NASCAR engine? That engine was a real sleeper in 1956.....fastest 1/4 of any '56 car
