What a wonderful, amazing dog Baxter was,we certainly will be buying his book...thanks for sharing him with all of us...hopefully our girl will bring love, and light into peoples lives just like Baxter, being herself a pets for therapy dog thanks again.

This is wrong! The poor dog who is clearly in pain is being subjected to being carried around and plonked next to strangers all day. Of course he can't escape or complain due to his condition. He's a dog, not a human and doesn't understand this treatment.

Baxter was a beautiful boy and he will be in heaven with our dog Baxter. We also had a Baxter that we had to put down in may. He to was a therapy dog. The people in nursing homes loved seeing him. We miss him so much. As I know you miss your Baxter. God Bless!

@MrSparks17 My dog died when he was 17 years old. I was just 12. I remember to kiss him in his head, and say goodbye to him. I remember the way he looked at me as if he was saying goodbye too! He was suffering a lost from heart and lung diseases, so my parents had to take him to the vet to end his suffering.
You know...dogs can't talk but they do talk, just by the look in their eyes. They really get so deep in our lives, become our true friends, the love they give is so real and honest!

Baxter clearly was in pain, but endured to continue his great work. This was so touching as i just had to let my 15 year old dog cros the "Rainbow Bridge". I am still in tears as I write this, and I know Baxter is running again, free of pain, with all of our companions that were waiting for him. RIP Baxter, you deserve it.

Having experienced the loss of many companions over the years I know it had to be so difficult for Baxter's parents to let him go but his spirit lives on in the work all three of them did. All the proceeds from the book "Moments With Baxter" go to the hospice care and groups that train dogs to do the type of work Baxter did. I am sure he is smiling down on those of us with friends waiting at the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for your kind thoughts and I am sorry for your loss.
