Automating MarcEdit's automatic updating function for non-Administrators

As more university libraries move to network managed software distributions, fewer catalogers may find that they have the ability to install programs. Given MarcEdit's irregular update schedule, managing updates to the program may also pose an issue for IT staff tasked with handling updates. As a compromise, options have been provided in MarcEdit that will allow a user to embed installation credentials to allow MarcEdit's automated update to proceed, even when the user running the application does not have administrative functionality.
