Sorry, but so long as the wire is the right gauge and is oxygen free, name brand wires won't perform any better than off-brand wires. There have been far too many studies to prove what I said is correct. As for the rest of the info, very informative!

I have a speaker that is connected by a Negative/Positive connection (Wire). I would like 1 end of the wire 2 be Neg./Pos. (for the speaker connection) and the other end of the speaker wire to be a 1/4 jack so I can connect it to an Amp. So my question is,,, instead of soldering on wires and doing all that work, cant I just purchase a speaker cable wire that has 1/4 jacks on both ends, cut one of the 1/4 ends and connect the cut end of the cable speaker wire into the Neg/Pos of the speaker?
