i am not sure what the first word is but yes it means form. sanshin no kata means basic three hearts patterns/forms. it is a direct translation from hatsumi video i got from my teacher to work on at home when i was young.. it is forms or patterns. according to the grandmaster soke hatsumi. take care

Different teachers have different methods and styles. The Kyus are not easy to learn nor are the kyus easy to communicate when you are still learning -- there are dozens of points you are not communicating in these videos mountainous. I suspect you are using this as a tool to learn from yourself and to critique yourself -- also as a way to humble yourself. Kudos to you forhaving the courage to post this video.

@MOUNTAINOUS San Shin No Kata is correct, everything else is wrong! starting position (correct are for chi Hira No Kamae for other four Katate No Kamae), movement of the legs(do not do the SANSHIN movement with your legs) and shots!

yeah i love this art ive trained various martialarts including bjj and muaythai and my heart is always with bujinkan love our philosaphies and the unique arsenal it provides like homotae or hora giyaku gan saka nagae those techniques are only used in taijutsu there may be similar moves in other styles but ninjutsu is done dif timing and distance the reflex training and for others reading bujinkan ninjutsu is the only real 1 look it up until next time shakino todaiyo to komiyo i know spelt wrong
