The temperature hovered at 4 degrees at 9AM today (12/8/10) as the Wollersheim Ice Wine grape harvest got underway. The St.Pepin grapes were ready for a good squeezing! The temperature was just about perfect, according to Winemaker Philippe Coquard who was delighted with the quality of the grapes. It took less than two hours to pick the crop which will be released in October 2011.
