This is my initial test recording of my playing of the drum solo instrumental piece "Moby Dick" from Led Zeppelin. On the next video I record, I hope to provide you with a better view of my Ludwig Stainless Steel drum kit, showing it direct from the front then. Will also make it a point to turn on the noise echo cancellation, maybe I will have to also turn the microphone boost down by about ten degrees. Here's to you, John Bonham, a drummer/percussionist there will never be another one like!

Maybe also on the next video, when I've repositioned the microphone, it will pick up the bass drum better.

  • @Aspergian it sounds great and thanks for the info keep up the great playin' man...

  • @101Petercriss101 One day I aim to own a couple of other Ludwig Classic Maple "Zep Sets" in Green Sparkle Wrap and Arctic White finishes, along with the Ludwig Amber Vistalite "Zep Set." Why I would have a Ludwig Classic Maple "Zep Set" in Arctic White is to go with this Ludwig Classic Maple 16" x 18" floor tom in Sable Black I also own, to have a sort of zebra color pattern.

  • @101Petercriss101 @101Petercriss101 A second drum kit is also owned by me; the Ludwig Classic Maple "Zep Set" in gloss lacquered Natural Maple finish.

  • @101Petercriss101 I have the 2002 drum set cymbal line from Paiste as well.

  • @101Petercriss101 I also have the Ludwig Supraphonic 6.5" x 14" snare drum with matching blue/olive parallelogram badge that came with this set, but decided to use this other instead. Cymbalwise, it's all Paiste, from their Giant Beat drum set cymbal line; 15" Hi-Hats, two 18", two 20", and 24" Multi-Function cymbals. The gong is also from Paiste; 30" Symphonic Gong. I would have used my two Ludwig timpani drums, but they are in their trunk cases on caster wheels in the garage.
