tis was one of Bob's Signature tunes. It's an old Blues Classic he heard as a boy. He recorded it many times for many labels.

  • Jezzie the Dog loves Bob Wells !!

  • Oh yeah... all the musicians in Bob's band were top-notch. They could handle all of the popular styles of the day-- jazz and blues, especially.

Bob was one a the originators of "western swing", which was a blend of styles: folk, gospel and jazz.

  • @mondofzz This song , or a version of it , was also done by Cream , years later. Studio version on 'Wheels of Fire' and a live version on side 2 of 'Goodbye' album. Traditional blues song.

  • Of course Bob wills is great, but check out John England and the western swingers!

  • steel 1:15

  • These guys were pretty hip. Very bluesy.
