they are youn cham not khmer cham, most youn cham are still hindus mixed with tiny bit's of islam while the cham khmer most of the time are strict sunni muslims who pray 5 times a day.

We make dua that they will be guided back to the Truth. They need to be reached and how I wish have the finacnce,language and proper books. Time is all I have.
First and formost: To acknowledge Allah is to abandon Idoles.(Totally stop shirik)

Okay. i've been here personally and from what i've learned is that, their ancestors who found that area, followed buddisim for a couple of generations. they've just recently found thier way back to islam. Now the vietnamese community from all over have tried to explain to them that what they are doing are not the right way how islam is supposed to be practiced. they don't even pray 5 times a day. and the only day that they pray are on jum'ah (friday) service. i hope they can turn it around.

umm... islam is practiced differently in each country! saudi arabia, jordan & afghanistan mix culture in, they celebrate the holidays differently, etc. thats the same with christanity.
