I actually like the singer. That's right, I said it!

Honestly, it's her own style. Do you want her sounding like every other singer musically masterbating scales with her voice and being a cocky showoff while they're at it, or do you prefer her to be unique in the way she wants to be and sing from her own heart?
When you've got someone that sounds unfamiliar and not like anything else, isn't that something that should be celebrated?

Then again, I guess there's simply no pleasing some people.

Well said, DeadWhiteButterflies. I remember a time when being innovative or unique was somewhat appreciated. Now it seems to be ridiculed and scoffed at more than anything else. It's a real shame.
