This is a 3D project I made together with a friend.
We made this from scratch using directX 10.
Features:
*Terrain
*Billboarding
*Bumpmapping
*Multitexturing
*Cubemapping
*Fog
*Texture animations
*Shadows
*Reflections
*Refractions
*Particlesystem
*Deferred Rendering
*SSAO
*3D water
I know the shadows are a bit off but we have already fixed that.
The bloom and SSAO showed in the video is not blurred but they are blurred in the final pass (when we show everything together).
I've "overused" some effects on purpose just so you would notice them (such as the bloom effect).

@DoctorXHorrible This isn't for anything. It wasn't made for a Game. If you ask me, it would be the start of quite possibly the greatest thing Sakarias has ever made, and could evolve into a fully working Video Game. But I don't beleive those are his intentions. :)

DirectX is not a game engine nor a graphics engine.
DirectX is something developers use to display graphics.
A good example would be Crysis 2. Cysis 2 uses DirectX 9.
An alternative to DirectX is OpenGL.
Most 3D games uses DirectX or OpenGL today.
