Harry Sacksioni - Goofy (on classical guitar)

Slow blues for acoustic guitar, written by famous Dutch guitarist Harry Sacksioni, inspired by the just as famous Walt Disney character, Goofy. Harry played the original version on his 1975 album on a Martin D-28 steel string flat-top. I play my version on a classical nylon string Hopf, because it feels comfortable, because the sound pleases me, and because I don't make enough money to buy a Martin D-28.

Wat is er moeilijk aan Goofy? - er zitten een paar ongewone technieken in (hammer-on en pull-offs op meer snaren tegenlijk) - volumeverdeling over bas-, midden- en leiden stemmen - de 'bluesy feel' leggen in de manier waarop je dit speelt - na 25 jaar ontdek ik nog steeds nieuwe mogelijkheden Gemakkelijk: - geen rare akkoorden - verslavend leuk nummer - veel gelegenheid tot improviseren, versieringen etc. - al snel resultaat Succes!

as i said, it´s quite good. all i´m saying is: personally i prefer a faster version :) that has nothing to do with a disney character, just with my personal taste.

@Sokkie47: Like I wrote: this is a *slow* blues. I play it at exactly the same tempo as the composer, who clocks in at 2:30 (LP: 'Harry Sacksioni: Gitaar').

This makes sense, since the song is called 'Goofy'. And it is obvious, at least to my ears, that this Goofy is not running around, but as usually wandering in his typically slow, lazy and clumsy fashion.

But if you want to try this song as Goofy-on-speed, be my guest!
