It's true; Poco is/was perhaps even better then The Eagles. Timothy should never left Poco. I think that The Eagles became much more famous because of a better management by mister perfectionist Don Henly. Still i have always been also a very big fan of the Eagles to. No wonder that Randy Meissner first went to the Eagles and that Timothy B. Schmitt came later to the Eagles when Randy left. What should have become of the Eagles without those great musicians from Poco?
I've favorited so many YouTube videos over the years - so many songs and artists that I adore, but this will always be my number one. It's simply the best!
I saw them on this tour too at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena 1976 opening for Stills-Young about 3 days before Neil left Stills high and dry. Great tune..still have the album..somewhere!
They say they're the poor man's Eagles... I think they are fantastic.. Timothy B Schmidt on bass of course went on to join the Eagles... underrated band of note!
extremely underated....saw them play this in Philly (soon to be destroyed Spectrum)..warming up for Stills/Young band...man they really got the crowd going for Neil and Steven...
