When you live a life of Love or real love the kind that died on the cross, you realize that a "church" means nothing. You are the church, it doesnt matter the color the ethinicity, all these things mean nothing....Following Christ is loving everyone, and living a life that shines His light instead of our selfishness....Thats the life that we should adopt, money, dreams, desires, wants, needs, success, fame, ...these things dont impress God, your heart ...thats what makes Him smile!!!!!

I actually attend a church that is predominately Filipino too and it has its own cultural festival that doesnt have much diversity at all (i'm pretty sure it makes the 2% of the "others" pretty awkward).I happen to be filipino and can relate to moe761.I used to live in a town where there were predominately white people and at first my family felt awkward for a bit but the people there were really nice and interested in OUR asian culture.Dude, haven't u noticed that filipinos r often so clickish

@Tommydudez We're in America. Our ethnicity is Filipino-American.
If this is a church try to get some diversity into it becuase I am sure that some people won't go becuase they might feel awkward that they are surrounded by asians only... I am sure i wont go to an all asian church... no offense.. i wouldnt go to an all white, black, or latino church either

@moe761 So, you're assuming we don't already try to outreach to all ethnicities? If so, you're incorrect. We do reach out to all people, hense the name Filipino-American. We aren't all 'asian' or however you generalized us. We seek those open to getting to know us to see that inside, we can be as positive and bright as anyone else with any skin color. We love Jesus, and Jesus loves our church, even tho it's predominately Filipinos.

@YESiTSjESSi Not sure of your point, but our church is just about reaching out to the Filipino community. I think it's easy to notice minorities being 'clickish,' but I also notice caucasians mainly hanging out w/ caucasians a lot too. I don't think either scenario is clickish tho. We hang with people we have things in common with, and it takes a level of openness to see things in common with others not of your ethnicity (so beyond the surface of skin and clothes/style)
