This was our 02 WRX from early last year. This was an initial dyno run prior to the Nitrous and track tuning. We experienced 7 5MT failures until we finally replace it with the 6MT. We exploded it also...

We had to go to the 6spd STi trans case with the straight cut gears...held up better-but don't clutchless shift! hahahahaha

So you blew up 7 trannys, one motor, and the hood has no chance great job guys!! Sure you have every suby waiting to get tuned LOL

That is one nasty ass setup right there.. I'm curious as to what trans setup you were using since you were blowing up the 5MT.. I would think a set of straight cut PPG gears would hold up to that but I could be wrong..
