  • SheWroteLove1 - I'm so glad this exercise has made a difference in your relationship with your horse. It's such a great feeling when your horse likes to be with you!

  • @hawaiianpony I must recommend you refrain from riding for a bit, just do ground work with your horse for now. Just spend one on one time with him, groom him, lunge him, share space with him as shown in the video. Oh and another thing to do, learn to massage him, horses love a good massage just like people do and it is a great way to bond with him.

  • If I had the space I would do it!! I stand it my horses stall with her alot but I don't have a fenced in arena so. . . .

  • Does this help in the saddle? My boy doesn't seem to like me too much right now and I feel terrible. I never had that issue with a horse. My last horse loved me pretty much the first day I took him out and groomed him. But Kai, he just...doesn't seem to like me much at all and it shows in the saddle :(

  • I do this with my horse all the time, and it's probably our favorite thing to do. I actually much prefer it to riding! I actually hang out in his stall all the time, and we've gotten so close that when I sit down on the ground, he'll stand over me like wild horses do to their foals. It's pretty amazing.

  • I can't wait to try this with my mare. =]

  • This seems like a great idea.. too bad we don't have a fenced in arena!

  • This has worked WONDERS with my horse and I!
