@guitarjag72 @guitarjag72 Exactly... Him teaching the 'feeling' is precisely why people took master classes with him... Really isn't that the point of a master class?
And Segovia in many ways was a sloppy player (compared to John Williams for example) but he had more feeling in his little finger than most do in their whole being...

It was to be better if master Segovia teached how he harmonized it from the violin work that it was. How to play it is a matter of technical skill and taste, good taste before death.

Watching this, one could only imagine what it must've been like to be a student of Mozart's or Da Vinci as they were imparting their craft on their students. This may be as close as we'll get to seeing a classical master at work.

she is probably a granny by now LOL teaching her grandchildren (one can only hope so)
Hell....I'd give my right nut to play like even she does....but Andres is right. The feeling is something that comes from the soul. I disagree with people who say that him teaching feeling is wrong. People who are of this caliber get so wrapped up in getting it technically correct that they forget it's more than just an exercise in proficiency. Any guitarist can tell you that when you learn another person's music, you need to get it technically correct first and then get the feeling down
