Siuna, Nicaragua -- The Tucker Foundation at Dartmouth College sent a team of students and staff to Nicaragua in December 2009. This group worked to improve public health practices by holding seminars with local health professionals. Throughout the trip, the team explored various aspects of the Nicaraguan culture. This is a sustainable service relationship; Dartmouth has been sending teams to Siuna for several years.
