I have never had a ferret before. This guy was a rescue from a neglectful owner. He was stuffed in a back room in a tiny cage without companionship. His weight is due to being stuck in a cage without being able to exercise. He is an old man ferrt! :) 5-6 years old is my guess by his size, temperment and teeth.

  • @KiiraB oh wow I love it!!!! are you going to continue to update it? Do you want more info about him that I haven't mentioned in teh videos at all because I can send you a private message to give you a more indetailed story about him, his personality and the conditions I rescued him from for your blog :P I think this is wonderful and reminds people that there are lots of animals out there that need rescuing, insead of going to a breeder to get your pets.

  • @hotchicky8 yes that would be great! You can email me at ferretdaily@gmail.com! If you can send me a few photos too that would be great! Just include any information that you don't mind me sharing on my blog, and I will make a feature ferret post for Jupiter. =)

  • @KiiraB Sounds great! It'll probably be a really LONG message if you want as much info as possible :P lol I'll snap some picture of Jupiter today :P

  • Wow! I am so glad Jupiter found his forever home! =) He is adorable.

  • @KiiraB Thanks. He is doing so much better now. He is on antibiotics for a possible infection in his gums (It's been about a week now) and I'm waiting to hear back on a quote for getting his teeth cleaned. I brush his teeth every 2 days with plaque and tartar fighting toothpaste and his gums are starting to look better. Not as much reddening. He is now losing weight too because I bring him EVERYWHERE with me and he now walks on a leash pretty well too, but it's still a work in progress.
