http://www.ridingman.com - You've read the reviews, asked friends, had a test ride. Still, it's nice to get a second opinion. Mark Gardiner has reviewed bikes for Road Racer X magazine, Motorcyclist, and MO. Here's his Summary Judgment. Featuring Mark Gardiner and the voice of Mary Pinizzotto

  • Just bought one of these! 2010 exlusive edition! :-D

  • I just sold my 1100 for this bike, awesome machine!

  • Damn. I was all set for a R1200 RT and then I watched this? Blond or brunette?

    No lose situation.

  • A review of unusual quality and clarity. Wish they were all this good.

  • best K1300 presentaion I saw on internet. Great bike, I'm thinking to change one day my R1200RT 2010 for it

  • >>>3 weeks ago I'd get the Honda CBR1100XX over this machine. Looks and sounds a lot better.<<<

Good comparison. This bike reminds me of the blackbird, but it's BETTER. Time moves on....I got one of these for my 50'th birthday, and before you think it a bike wasted, you should take a ride with me.;-)

This is one superb bike that is not without it's faults(bloody gearbox!) and is arguably well over priced, but It will hold it's value far better than any of the competition.

  • I'd get the Honda CBR1100XX over this machine. Looks and sounds a lot better.

This BMW man be more comfy to ride than the CBR but, thats ok. I wonder why BMW hadn't made a 600cc machine to compete with the other bikes?

They made a 1000cc bike. Which is a cool looking machine. I'd get the ZX10 over that though. Kawasaki all the way.

  • I bought the BMW 1300 GT last week. Excellent bike with good mileage. (6.2 liters/km) at an average speed of 120 km/hr. Easy to stear and accelerate astonishing in 6th gear. Brakes are fantastic (watch the rear mirror!)

This is the best bike ever. The ESA is perfect to adjust your suspension (you can feel it!)

  • Great presentation

  • I test rode the BMW K1300gt lovely bike but I think the FJR1300 just shades it
