Former Smiths frontman Morrissey has quit a concert early for the second time in two weeks - after being hit by a drink from the crowd.
Witnesses told how he was struck at Liverpool's Echo Arena after shaking hands with fans.

The missile appeared at first to be a half full plastic glass.

But around 25 minutes after the singer left the stage a member of the crew announced he had been hit on the head by what was described as a bottle.

He said the concert would not continue.

The attack happened after Morrissey opened with This Charming Man and was in the middle of the song Black Cloud.

  • @birdandthe You just had to ask :)

  • @Stakker How absolutely fascinating !!!

  • @PBL187 Oh I see what you are getting at. I use 'skaus' deliberatley, I'm fully aware how most people spell it. However, the word scouse is derived from Lobskaus the food the foriegn sailors ate that gives the region that name. 'Scouse' is the Anglicised version of the word. Google 'Lobskaus' or 'Labskaus' and 'Liverpool', you'll see the history.

  • @Stakker Its "Scouse" I've never seen anyone type it as "Skaus" before lol.

  • @birdandthe Not as stupid as blasting someone for their English and then going and spelling a simple word like "thieving" wrong.

  • @PBL187 Eh? It was filmed at the Liverpool Echo arena.

  • @PBL187 You missed a comma after well. p.s why do you type 'you're' when you could type 'you ar'e both of which require six keyboard hits, pretty stupid.

  • Would have been funny if he had told the band to stop, picked the bottle up and pretended to take a drink from it and said "Thanks I needed that drink you're so kind" and then carried on lol.

  • @Stakker Skaus? You've lost the plot lol
