  • I bought this thing and was totally confused by the instructions. I emailed the company and they sent me the SAME isnbtructions and a link to their YouTube video. yeah...noo!! This review was SO much more helpful, along with eing entertaining. I love the plain-spoken advice with a bit of colorful language sprinkled in. And you're right-OUCH-when you first out it in and it scrapes across your scalp (even with the pads on the ends)! Like wearing high-heeled shoes in order to look more sexy.

  • @HardCourtCafeGRRC Im glad you liked it!! I hated their instructions and I find it funny that they just sent you the same ones that you told them you couldn't understand... AMAZING. I totally agree that this product is just like high heels

  • aww it looked so nice on you when i did it i found out my hair wasent long enough and i have some layers

  • @JoJoLuvsU789 Aww that sucks but thats what I find with this Goody simple styles collection, you have to have just the right amount of hair for it too work or look nice if you don't youre screwed!! It sucks so bad

  • Thanks for making this video. It really helped me figure this thing out. I didn't really understand the directions provided either. I did manage to use the pin vertically as it shows and it does not hurt my head. However, my hair is not super thick. I think that makes a difference. Thanks again. :)

  • AH! Thank you so much for posting, I could not get this to work with the instructions! Your way is so much better!

  • I agree with everyone saying the instructions on the package suck!

  • I've had the spin pins for a while and love them, but I decided to pick up this pin today. After looking at the instructions and mashing it into my head, I had no idea what it was telling me to do. Thanks for clearing up Goody's poor instructions. My hair is so long that it takes forever to get a decent french twist using just the spin pins.

  • It wouldn't hurt if you allowed a little slack in the twist before you put the pin in, so the pin creates the tension you need for it to stay, but not so much that it hurts.

  • Great tutorial! I have had this thing since April and never was able to get it to work. Because of your video, IT WORKS! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will check out your Spin Pins review. I started with those when they came out and loved them from the start.

  • hi.. great video.. you explained why it hurts really well.. it basically acts like an anchor.. one thing that might help is not winding it up so tight.. this will help because you already wind it up tightly.. and then the pin tightens it even more.. so if you leave it a little looser it wont be as tight when you put the pin in.. not saying it wont hurt later in the day though, because its working as an anchor that will happen, we've only just got these in the uk.. am really excited!!

  • Thanks so much! I couldn't quite make this work! If it wasn't for your tutorial I would have lost this pin to the bottom of my toiletries bag, then thrown it out about three years from now!

  • BEST instructions ever, thanks
