This is an excerpt from my "Take Your Camera Off Program Mode! Part I workshop where I talk about how I like to shoot subjects in bright sunlight. Instead of using something that will cast a dark shadow on, I like to use a diffuser. That way my flash doesn't have to work as hard since there is still some diffused sunlight falling on my subject.

I shoot with a Nikon D700 and have been shooting weddings professionally since 1998.
