  • okay i hope u can respond quick lol..i have the 600 nitro that i love the limited edition someone wants to trade me for that for their 600 electric not sure of the electronics in it yet though...what is your opinion on that? i like the nitro cuz its heavy and wind is NOT an issue, im not a stick banger but i have done piro flips and such...let me know what you think ex. nitro:grease, motors, nitro, electric:battery cost, crash rate when a battery tacos or messes up in the crash etc.ur info aprec

  • @hoffbran Well thats a matter of opinion. I myself like electric better than nitro. I really like the power and the fact that electric is so clean. I run Castle Creations Esc's and Neumotors on my heli because the stock electronics are not that great in my opinion. In the 4 years I have been flying I have never took out a lipo in a crash to where it was no good anymore. Fly them both and see what you like more that's a decision only you can make.

  • buildem336,

Quick question. How hot does the esc get on the 6 cell setup?I wanna run a Scorpion 4020-1100KV motor with the CC 85HV esc and a 6 cell Flightmax 30C 5000mAh lipo,do you think the esc will get hot and fail on me?

  • @flyinhigh450 My ESC would get from 100-120 degrees on a very hot day but I am running a Neu motor which in my experience they are more efficient and pull less amps than scorpions do but I still think you should be fine. It also depends how hard you are going to fly it.

  • Nice Flying Manuel, ive just got in to helis and want to do some 3D eventualy, ive got a 450 that ive crashed about a dozen times trying tricks and agressive flying and now ive crashed my 600 for the first time and its hurts seeing it torn apart. Did you crash alot before being able to fly like you do? Or im just no good at it!

  • @apiafo Yes I have crashed alot of times. The first thing to do is learn all your upright hovering orientations and then go to forward flight, inverted hovering orientations, inverted flight then 3d. Take your time and that will help minimize crashes a little.
