Evelyn (4 years) and Pearl (9 months) completely go berserk in the house. I should keep them off the furniture but to be honest, that is why we have a leather couch.

I am so sorry you lost your dog. I lost my heart dog, last year, and still cry.  I know you have to be still actively grieving.

Aren't sammies just so fun!!!??? My two used to do this every time I got on the phone! Just like two naughty little toddlers. My male just died this Xmas sudden death while on a walk. My female is doing well but I so miss them frolicking like this. Thank you so much for sharing-makes me happy to watch!

@MrGuitarboy21 Mine never quite got to the point of overheating yet, but when my hubby and I were in Dallas a couple of weeks ago the weather was pretty warm (nowhere near hot though) and our sammy was just panting and trying to hide in the shade.

thank you for getting back to me so quickly . I couldnt bring myself to get another sammy, cause i didn't want to feel another one would be taking her place just her space. But it was too soon i have her pictures around my house along with all the other animals in or out of my life

@K3n4ovs I agree with all of your observations about the Samoyed breed. Maya is my 4 year old Sammy and she is the love of my life. I know all dog owners think their breed is the all-around best one to have and I've had lots of dogs while growing up. However, having a "sammy" is very special.  Your advice to take lots of pictures and make the most of the time we have with our best friends is well-taken.
