I spent nine years in New York City as an established working actor in theatre, independent films, commercials and soaps. My education came from acting teacher legends SANFORD MEISNER, BOBBY LEWIS, as well as MARTIN BARTER at the famous NEIGHBORHOOD PLAYHOUSE.
Furthermore, I spent six of those years in New York City as a mobile Disc Jockey to supplement my acting career. I also started my career in the filmmaking side of the business by attending THE SCHOOL OF VISUAL ARTS in New York City, where I studied screenwriting and directing.
I moved to Los Angeles in 1996 to further my acting career in film and television, having studied with LARRY MOSS, IVANA CHUBBUCK and AARON SPEISER.
Hello Julian, first of all congrats for the reel! I just want to ask you something, I'm thinking of going to the Sanford Meisner Center to study with Martin Barter. Been acting for under a year now (just turned 20) and one of the first classes I took at my school was a Meisner course and fell in love with it! So my question is, do you think I should start my acting training on the SMC?
