This was the Co-op class of the last semester of 2009, at the Grey and Simcoe Foresters.
This was one of their final training missions they were taking part in...This video was taken at the Barrie Airport (Barrie, Ontario)
The plan was for the CH-146 Griffon to land at the airfield, pick up a group of the soldiers and fly them to CFB Borden and drop them off. (it was a 6 minute trip flying from the airport to Borden). There was 3 different groups of guys to pick up and drop off.. meaning the Griffon made 3 trips.
Once the soldiers got to CFB Borden, they were going to attack a house (or something equivalent) and clear it all out etc, then fly back to the airport and go home.
im doing the grey and simcoe foresters co op out of owen sound next semester, is that what this video is from?

This is the co op class from Barrie and Area, not the Owen Sound class.
The classes are basically the same, except Owen Sound takes quite a few more applicants than Barrie does.
About a week ago I heard that the Barrie Co op class is only taking 10 applicants.
(I managed to get in =D)
Owen Sound takes 30 or 40 applicants, so I'm not sure if they would do training exercises such as this one because its expensive :P

When the Griffon took off, it blew grass and sand in our direction and it got stuck on the lens :P
