3 weeks of playing the Violin/Fiddle ''Ode to Joy''

I recently bought me a super cheap Ashton violin. Cause i always thought it was a great instrument. Im almost playing for 3 weeks now. Its very hard.
I learned this by ear because im self taught. Tell me what you think about it.:)

Hey not bad at all, especially after 3 weeks! It was mostly in tune(come on lets not nitpick at this stage of playing), have a try at playing a little bit more in the middle of the bow, playing close to the frog(where you hold the bow) is pretty hard at start.

I think you might be playing too close to the wooden thingie (I forgot the name! ...) and you're alittle off the notes. But otherwise it's good for having played for such a short amount of time!! keep it up dude! Have you tried twinkle twinkle little star? It's super easy and you can play around with it alot! I also have the webadress to a couple of sites that feature free sheet music. Holla if you want me to send'em to ya!
